The Midwest Institute of Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery understands the life changing effects of undergoing weight loss surgery and the concerns of those contemplating having surgery. Our staff will be offering a support group for patients who have had weight loss surgery, individuals contemplating surgery and immediate family members. Meetings will be held at Sartori Memorial Hospital from 7 to 8:30 p.m. the first Monday of every month, guest speakers will be featured to discuss topics pertaining to weight loss surgery.  Upcoming meetings and speaker topics include:

September 8, 2008 - Fall Kick-off with Timi Brown.  Group will meet in the Wellness Center, 2nd Floor of Sartori Memorial Hospital.  Please wear comfortable shoes and clothes.

The support groups are open to patients who have had weight loss surgery, those contemplating having the surgery and family members. No registration required to attend.
